Therefore, the efficient use of Kapshagai reservoir requires the implementation of large scale water management activities. One of the main water management activities, which inflow to reservoir is the calculation and determination of statistical parameters of runoff. In this paper we propose the optimal method to determine the hydrological characteristics of a river's flow silt.
