ASSESSMENT OF CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANNUAL RUNOFF OF THE RIVERS OF THE ILE-BALKASH WATER BASIN

This article presents the results of calculations of the characteristics of the annual runoff and its variability in the rivers of the Ile-Balkhash region in conditions of economic use of water in the basin and modern climate changes. Changes in the long-term temperature regime and annual precipitation in a given territory are considered at representative meteorological stations and their influence on the characteristics of the annual run-off of the basin rivers. The estimated indicators of annual river runoff, characterizing the water resources of the region, are given.
